

Other funds go to the Presbyterian Children’s Home in Talladega. The money raised goes to various organizations. Other merchandise, such as Stanley tools and Rada knives, are also sold. Swamp John is a fried fish restaurant in northwest Alabama. The fundraisers include sales of jewelry, a white elephant sale, Swamp John fish dinners, a silent Easter basket auction, and a silent cake auction(on Mother’s Day). The fundraising activities happen at various times throughout the year, as needed. First the fundraising activities: in January of each year, at a church meeting, the members plan fundraisers for the year and set a budget.
